2nd Quarter Blog Entry #6( Response on prompt #3)

It was kind of hard to find a time that I was tricked into doing something wrong because I was rarely tricked into doing anything. But this trick was something I really wanted to do. My older cousin was always up to no good. He had been getting in a lot of trouble lately so he needed someone to cover up for him, and that someone was me. I t was hard for him because I was very hard to trick. I wasn't the average kid. He was going to try much harder if he wanted me to fall for his childish schemes.

My parents were about to go out that night, so it was just me and my cousin. I was thinking to myself that this would be the perfect time for him to get at me and the perfect time for me to show him that I won't be tricked. They said there good byes and they left and our eyes immediately locked. I went to my room and I didn't turn around to look at him but i knew he was coming for me, but what he didn't know was that he was walking right into my trap. I had already had in my mind that what ever he said I was not going to listen to him. So we had went down to the store down the street for something to snack on. This is where I fall for the trap. He must have found these around the the house because we were together all day. He secretly pulled out some fire crackers that looked like fire. I panicked. He said " Quick, pull the fire alarm". I felt for it. When we got home, we were both in serious trouble. That's the story of when I was tricked.

2nd Quarter Blog Entry #5( Response on prompt #4)

I was only really really in love one time. The girls name was Denice Campren. I don't know why I liked her, I just knew I liked her. Tried everything. Well, not really. I just watched her, and watched her until she finally noticed. I didn't find out that she liked me from the beginning until late in our relationship. So I wasn't going to ask her out until I was absolutely sure that she liked me back. I thought I wasn't getting anywhere by just looking at her, so I decided to take it a step further. I started fighting with her. I would do things like squirt water guns at her face. I knew she liked it, but she covered up by chasing me. I was getting the feeling she was starting to like me. I kept on with that approach.

One day I was playing basketball, and I started to notice that I was making all my shots because she was around, I hardly ever missed when she was around. At first I had these butterflies in my stomach and then as we progressed, I felt awesome. Later on I finally got some courage and asked her out and we began to date. We were going pretty steady and then she had to move. I will never forget the things I did for Denice. And I'm pretty sure she won't either. So far she is the only one that I went that far for.

2nd Quarter Blog Entry #4 ( Response on Prompt #2)

I grew out of being a big bawl baby when I was younger but when I was a big bawl baby, things got out of control. I remember a while back, my little brother was wearing one of my shirts that I couldn't fit anymore, so my mom gave it to my brother. I saw him wearing it, so I decided to take it off of him. He immediately started to scream. My mom came in and started yelling at me for trying to take his clothes off of him. I knew it was the wrong thing to do, but it was my shirt and I was determined to get it back. Even if it meant getting in trouble, I was going to get it back.

I was still trying to get the shirt off of him even though my mom said stop. My mom got me off of him and gave me a spanking. I was so mad and it wasn't even worth it. The shirt couldn't fit me and to be honest, I didn't like it. The only reason I wanted it was because it was mine and I didn't want anyone else wearing it. Selfishness got me in to a lot of trouble that day. That's a story I will never forget. The time I was big bawl baby.

Second Quarter Blog #3 prompt 7

I haven't experienced many deaths in my childhood,in fact I actually haven't really experienced any, but someone i know did die. I was 13 when it happened so I understood that she was going to a better place. I remember one morning I had woken up and was ready to go on an trip to Chicago and I was just about to grab a couple of snacks for the road. I went into the living room and my mom was not looking so well. I gave her some space, but it was starting to bother me. I tried my hardest to keep my mouth shut but it was going to my mind so I asked her if she was all right. She told me one of my child hood friends mother had passed. An huge shock came across me immediately. I asked her one more time to see if I wasn't going crazy. She repeated it, she was gone.

I didn't know what to say. Things were happening so fast in my head and I didn't know what to say or think. It was horrible because she had died because of stress. They didn't have any money, their dad had left them in the middle of the night, their 4 year old sister steal didn't know how to talk, and they were always being made fun of because of the way they smelled or the clothes they were wearing. I always felt sorry for them and always complimented them, but people still kept bothering and pestering them, and all they did was turn the other cheek. All the way up until now there still turning the other cheek. And all I can say is that I'm sorry. I felt totally useless and also, torn to pieces.

I went outside the next couple of days later and heard someone talking about them in a negative way. I immediately told them to shut up and I had told them there mother had died. And then he had said the worse thing he could have ever said, " She probably died because of how bad they stunk." I must have been possessed or something because as soon as he said that I punched him dead in his face and didn't stop until like ten guys got him me off of him. I was so angry and couldn't control my anger. I was still punching while they were carrying me away from the boy. It was an horrible day that I will never forget. Never.

2 Quarter Blog #2 ( Response on prompt 1)

I barely have any temper problems so this response is a difficult one. When I did have temper problems, it was probably when I was younger and it was over little things, and the consequences for them were very little. I can only remember one time when i had real bad temper. Once, in the fifth grade, I was pretty upset about an test I had took. There was one question that I just knew was right but I had got it wrong. That question was going to be the question that brung the test grade up to an A. I was pretty upset. I just knew the question was right and I knew she had messed up. I also knew if I was to come to her with an attitude and a really bad temper, It would result in a detention or worse. At the time I really didn't care what happened as long as I got that question right. Somrhting had to be done about this, and soon.

I wasn't sure where all the anger was coming from, but all i knew was that the anger was coming out, and if I didn't do anything soon, consequenses were going to occur. I had never gotten anything lower than an A on a test and most definently not on an report card. I knew my parents wouldn't be upset with me, but I just kept on with all the rage. I did and said things ththat I wouldn't dare do or say. I needed to cool down. I asked if I could get a drink of water. I was cooling down and my mind was clearing up. I was back. When i came back into the classroom, my teacher had told me that the question that I had got wrong was really right and she had made an mistake. I was relieved and instantly replinished. There were no consequences involved because I had stopped myself before things got out of control. I knew from there on that when I felt temper rising, istantly cool down before thingget to out of hand. When i learned that, I rarely got in trouble.

2nd Quarter Blog #1

Response on first quarter blog.

In my first quarter blog I had very little mistakes. I followed the criteria and made sure everything was there. I was very satisfied. I had only two things that I was upset about was that my blog turned out to be out of order and a little disorganized. Also my trailer didn't make people want to read my book. I was pretty upset with the results of my Animoto but if i was ever to do it again i would know exactly what to do with it. Overall i was pretty impressed with my first quarter blog project.

When I first came into the world of blogging i thought it was going to be another one of those boring, hard, and stressful projects. But as i went with all the way to the end, it actually became a pretty fun and interesting experience. My favorite part of my blogging experience would be just giving feedback on what i read so far. I feel like when I was blogging about it, a movie would pop up in my head about what i had read so far. It was an amazing experience. Another thing I enjoyed about the blogging project was the animoto. It gave me an chance to really express the book. In the end, have learned to appreciate the PRIVILEGES of blogging on blogspot.com

By Starting of this first blog I would like to Introduce the new book I will be reading and blogging about for second quarter blog. " KING OF THE MILD FRONTIER" a biography by Chris Crutcher. I would like to start off with a brief preview of what i read so far. The protagonist or main character of this book is Chris Crutcher. Chris Crutcher is also the author of the book so as you can see this is a biography, or a description or story of someones life. Chris Crutcher as a child had a very bad temper. He did things like break mirrors, bump his head on the edge of the bath tub and other things to let out his temper. his parents would always keep the broken mirror to remind him of what he did was wrong. That's pretty much all I read.

Blog #4

Ethan Baker-
Ethan you did a very good job with the piece of music you selected. It describes your blog very well. You made the mood of the blog very easy to understand. When you were using the very specific words i could see a picture in my mind of what you were talking about. You had very little if not any mistakes in your blog. I'm looking forward to your next blog. I might even check out the book. When you get done withthe book could you tell me so that i can check it out? Thanks.

 Chardonnay Bennet-
I liked the piece of music you selected to represent your blog. It brings about a lot of emotions. It definently does a good job of explaining your blog. You also did a good job expressing you self in the blog and explaining how your piece of music connected with your book. You had some minor things that needed to be corrected in your blog like run-on sentences but overall you did well. What was the name of your blog again? I just wanted to know because it sounds pretty interesting.

Yair-Yair, you did a pretty good job. You had some minor problems but you did a good job. Your piece of music expresses the blog perfectly. It was kind of hard to fully get the full affect of what you were trying to say because of the spelling errors and the improper language. When you are writing or typing you have to make sure that you have all you're words spelled correctly and you are using correct language. Otherwise it's kind of hard for the reader to fully understand the point you are trying to get across.

Blog #3

Classical Connect - Free classical music online

The reason I chose this peace of music because it expresses the mood of the story. Throughout the book there is no part that shows happiness . The song obviously shows no signs of happiness. The composer i chose was Bach. Bach is a famous composer that specialized in classical music back in his day. The song i chose is named Flute Sonata in e minor.

The reason i say that the book was kind of gloomy because the main character was constantly getting beat. Garret, the main character, was always thinking bad things about his parents while he was lying face down on concrete for days because his parents made him come to that horrible place. He was always getting in trouble all the time for seeing this woman that a couple years older. So that's why i decided that that would be the perfect song to set the tone of the story.

Boot Camp Blog #2

Hi, Todays Blog is going to be my second blog on Boot Camp. Garret is having trouble keeping his mouth shut and following orders. Garrets goup leader or "Father" as the camp would call him is really giving Garret a hard time. He made Garret Go To TI or Temporary Isolation, because of speaking his mind and trying to out smart the group leader. Temporary Isolation is when they put your face on really cold and hard concrete for 24 hours. He finally gets out the next day with every bone in his body aching. They go through there daily schedule and at night time, the camp leader makes another one of Garret's members,Pauly, cry and then it was lights out the bullies of the "Family", Adam and his crew  bring Pauly into the bathroom and start beating him and stabbing him with the broken end of a plastic fork. Garret stands up to him and gets put in TI

Boot Camp

Hi, my name is Marcus Burton. The book I am reading is Boot Camp. The reason I chose Boot Camp because I was looking for a book with suspense and action, and boot camp sounded like that's what it had to offer. What I read so far about boot camp is that Garret has to go to this horrible boot camp because of his horrible behavior. He already has a reputation at the camp for being pretty smart. He was told to read and learn the whole bible and then take a test. He read, learned, and passed the test in a hour. That made some of the counselors angry so they go harder on him and that's how far I got in the book Boot Camp. I personally like the book. Right now it doesn't have all the suspense i wanted it to have but it's entertaining me so I'm going to stick with it. I'm pretty sure more suspense will build up as i get further into the story. I think it's a pretty promising book. That's it for my blog.
